Hello, I have two questions about the external balance of BQ40Z50:
1. The balance is calculated based on dQ, dQ = CellnDOD – CellLOWEST_SOC DOD × CellnQMax (mAh), which are the only parameters in BQstudio.
2. What is the difference between dQ and open balance.

1. I read the specification that the balance opening is based on the dQ value. Which three parameters does the dQ calculation formula refer to? I can't find it in BQstudio.
2. How much greater the dQ value is to open the balance.
3. Bal Time=(CELLn QMAX—Cell_lowest QMAX) / (Bal time/mAh)

Refer to 13.5.12.3 Min Start Balance Delta, you can adjust the voltage difference when balancing begins.

Hello, which document are you looking at? The document I read is introduced in 14.4.12.3: Minimum cell voltage delta to start cell balancing during Relax Balance Interval checks. This condition is checked in RELAX mode and so it only applies if cell balancing at rest is enabled. This setting is in relax mode.
What about the charge balance setting?
