TPS61372: Powering a boost circuit using TPS61372

Hi,

I have made a design using TPS61372. Attaching the Webench design 6.5V 30mA 85C TPS61372.pdf

Im powering another switcher(LTC3265) using TPS61372. Im concerned about switching current TPS61372 would see from the LTC3265. This can cause output ripple to be high. Im considering using a LC filter on TPS61372 output. What you recommend regarding powering LTC3265 from TPS^1372?

What L and C part should I use?

May I know what's the Vout ripple you expect? Would you accept the Force PWM mode?

I'm looking for extremely low Vout ripple(maybe below 10mV).

Sorry I don't know about forced PWM mode.

You mean that I should give any control signal to the IC for a specific function?

You can suggest me whats best option according to you.

I hope based on the design report you must have known the input current load etc. Whatever I add to this circuit must be low height and footprint area. I'm powering TPS61372 using a battery.

Hi Sahol:

Sorry that the load is coming from other company, I can't share too much my view for its requirements.

The Force PWM means the converter will continual switching even if the load is light. The switching frequency is fixed.

For the ripple, you can do the calculation based on 8.2.2.4 in datasheet. .
