BQ25713: SoC LED options?

I have a customer with the following request:

In the bq40z50, when the DISP button is pressed, the LEDs show the SoC for the battery as intended. There is a small LED chasing feature that illuminates the LEDs sequentially (I’m uncertain if this is because of charlieplexing or by design). Is there a way to disable that so the SoC LEDs illuminate all at once? If so, I can’t seem to find that setting in the TRM.

Hi Will,

All configuration options available for the bq40z50 are in the TRM LED section. To clarify, customer does not want the LEDs to be turned on sequentially?

Yes is there a way to have them illuminate briefly all together then off? Thank you!

It looks like he can set LED DELAY (section 13.7.1.3) to zero to accomplish his goal. I will ask him to try it. Thanks!
