UCD9081: Discover Devices

Hi,

When I push on "Discover Devices" in the UCD9081 EVM GUI, I get a reset to the sequencer.

How could I use this "Discover Devices" without to reset the sequencer?

I have a primary sequencer and seconded sequencer that his rest pin controlled from CPLD, and when I release the the reset from the CPLD and push Discover Devices the CPLD get a reset too because of the primary sequencer that control on the CPLD.

Yes, that's how the GUI handles the discovery device.

When clicked the discover device, GUI sends a RESTART(0x20) command if the slave ACKs the address

What is the problem here? Does GUI miss detecting the second UCD9081?

is there a way to disable the GUI from sending a RESTART(0x20) command?

the sequencer_1 give to the CPLD the EN for the voltage and the CPLD give to the sequencer_2 the reset high.

Hello

No, the command is embedded inside the GUI.

I understand that there is a reset on the UCD9081. But GUI is used only for debug or R&D, during normal operation, GUI is not involved.
