Dear TI team,

I'm considering using EM1402EVM for my project. EM1402EVM supports up to 16 channel/cells. My question is, can EM1402EVM support voltages of up to 16-18V per channel/cell (total of 288V max)?

Hi Vadym,

This solution uses the bq76pl455a monitor which only supports abx max of each cell of up to 6.5V which is typically for stackable Li-ion type battery pack applications. Can you comment on what kind of battery application would be 16-18V per cell?

I am working with NiMH batteries. I am looking for a balancer that would be capable of handling stackable modules that add up to 14.4 V per channel just as shown in the picture below.

Vadym,

Unfortunately our monitor devices are currently targeted for Li-ion type applications up to~6.5V so I cannot provide a recommendation at this time.
