Hi team,

Is there any way to disable TPS6281220-Q1's output discharge function?

I plan to insert Schottky diode in between output cap and the load.

In this case, I would like to connect feedback line after the diode to keep the voltage at load constant,

but I concern this blocking diode in a feedback loop makes the operation unstable. 

Is there any issue using blocking diode in a feedback loop?

    Hi Shinji,

    TPS62812-Q1 device has an internal active discharge function and it actives once the Enable pin is going low. You are correct, placing diode on feedback can make the system unstable. Could you give more detail about the application and what is the concern of active discharge? As the internal resistor set is 50 Ohm for active discharge.
