TPS23881: Ref. Schematic & Source Code

Hi,

Our customer has a plan to draw schematic, PCB artwork and make firmware for control this device.

They are using ORCAD 16.5.

Could you please send below requests to me?

1. ORCAD file about Ref. Schematic and PCB library.

2. Ref. Source Code.

    Hi Michael, how many ports is your design? Are they all BT (90W) ports? Are you looking for design files for the EVM? Or for our 24 port reference design? Please note that all our reference designs and EVMs are designed in Altium so unfortunately we do not have ORCAD files. I can still send the Altium files if you are interested.

    Lastly, we have reference code if you want to design your own PSE system software. We also have a full system PSE software solution FirmPSE that can be used that does power port management. Let me know the above answers and I can steer you to the right system links and files.

    I got a reference files on the web-site.

    Our customer will use 8 port.

    I have a request.

    Is it possible to convert from Altium to ORCAD?

    If possible, Could you send ORCAD file and Ref. schematic for 8 port ?

    Hi Darwin,

    I have a another request additionally.

    When I got FirmPSE related materials from TI.

    But there is no source code except .exe file.

    Our customer will use Nuvoton MCU for control PSE.

    So they need ref. source code not .exe file.

    If we can't send source code to customer, our solution will be not chosen.

    Because they don't have a enough time for production.

    Could you please send us source code?

    Hi Michael,

    Unfortunately Altium cannot output to ORCAD schematic as we have tried this in the past.

    FirmPSE was designed to be used with the MSP430 referenced in the user's guide.

    Since you mention you are using a different MCU, I recommend looking below link at the reference code that can help you start your software. Thanks!
