TPS2121: Is TPS2121 bidirectional?

Hi all,

I am looking for a power demultiplexer to switch one power input to two power outputs. The power is 5V-3A.  But I just found IC TPS2121.

So my question is:

1. Is TPS2121 bidirectional? Can TPS2121 use as demultipelxer?  Can the power be transmitted from output of TPS2121 to input of TPS2121?

2. If no, Is there any power demultiplexer for my application?

    Hi Huy,

    TPS2121 is an unidirection power mux and so it cannot be used to demux one supply to two loads.

    We do not have a power demux device but the easiest way to build a system to supply two loads is to use a load switch per output. I think a device like TPS22976 or TPS22976A might work here as it is one device with two independent channels.
