LM5066IEVM-626: SOA consideration at the time of startup

Part Number: LM5066IEVM-626

Hi team,

My application specification as below.

1. Vin=Vout=43.2-52.8V

2. Iout_max=15A@48V

3. Load1=Back-DCDC(48Vto24V,Cin=200uF)

4. Load2=MotorDriver with Boost-DCDC(48Vto60V,Cin=440uF)

5.The loads are connected in parallel to the hotswapIC output.

The Load2 Boost-DCDC has no enable terminal and starts operating from 9V.(This is not the circuit I designed, but it is necessary for the system.).

Therefore, a large current flows when the voltage between Vd-s during capacitor charging is high.

In this case, do we have to increase the capacity of the MOSFET and withstand the current?
