LM5155: Ripple at no load

Dear Team,

Here is Kevin from Taiwan.

During no load, the Vo will have a big spike due to Vgs has a suddenly big duty and two continuous pulse.

Do you have ideas whatmay cause the issue here?

CH2: Vin, CH3: Vo(p-p), CH4: Q1801 Vgs

    Hi Kuan Wei Chen,

    Thanks for reaching out with your question and for using the LM5155 in your design.

    Can you please post the COMP pin voltage waveform? Tis will le us know if the issue is control loop related. 

    Is the ripple causing some issue in the application? As the output voltage is 24V I don't think 100mV of ripple would have an impact on the application. Also is this only happening at on e input voltage or across multiple voltages?
