TPS22917: CT pin of TPS22917

Hello team,

My customer took a mistake CT pin of TPS22917 schematics. He used 0.1uF capacitor,  but this capacitor was connected to CT pin and GND, (not VIN). However he said that TPS22917 switch was turned on when VIN was powered up.
Can we consider the turn on time in this case is as same as floating case in CT pin?  If yes,  I would like to recommend to remove 0.1uF capacitor.

Would you please advise how TPS22917 would actually operate?

    Hi Tamazaki-san,

    Please ask the customer to either remove the CT capacitor or to reconnect it from VIN rail to CT pin.

    Using a CT capacitor from the CT pin to GND is incorrect operation of the device and I cannot recommend or comment on any of the behavior here as this is not correct operation.
