UCD90160A: Fly wire to control PMBUS_CNTRL on / off

Dears,

I fly wire PMBUS_CNTRL to ground via switch then check sequence after PMBUS_CNTRL going to low.

But when I keep switch to low system still working, did I miss something?

The power rail was set control pin mode.

Other question is can I control PMBUS_CNTRL independent via GUI with USB to GPIO fixture? if not, how can I achieve?

The control pin can be either ACTIVE HIGH or ACTIVE LOW to turn on the system?

Under ON/OFF_CONFIG, what's the polarity for the CONTROL PIN？

PMBUS_CTRL is a 3.3V input to the device. you can drive this signal from any logic or IOs of your processor/FPGA.

But when you connect the USB_TO_GPIO dongle to the board and launch GUI,GUI may impact the PMBUS_CTRL signal since it will either drive it high or low which is up to the last GUI settings.

Hello

PMBUS_CTRL is a input signal to the UCD90160A. you have to control the source of this signal

Please check your vendor who provide the source of the PMBUS_CTRL signal.

As for control GPIO of UCD90160A via SW, please refer section 10.42 and 10.43 of https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvu352g/slvu352g.pdf
