BQ25606: In testing a board with BQ25606

Part Number: BQ25606

Hi.

In order to reproduce the low-voltage state of the battery, I think there is no problem be tested by connecting a stabilized power supply to the BAT pin (13, 14)?

Of course, the final test is to connect the battery.
However, it is difficult to change the battery voltage arbitrarily, so I would like to see if a regulated power supply is an alternative.

  • Hi,

It is ok to connect the electrical load to SYS pin without the battery. If battery charging is preferred, it is ok to use bi-directional power supply as battery simulator (e.g. Keithley 2420 sourcemeter).

    Thanks,

    Ning.
