BQ34Z100-G1: QUIT RELAX TIME, PRIME RELAX TIME AND SEC RELAX TIME

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1

Hello,

I am using a BQ34z100-g1 with an 8s2p LiFePO4 batteries. IT algorithm is implemented on this fuel gauge.

In IT algorithm there are some parameters that fix the change from one mode to another. To exit relaxation and enter discharge mode current must be under Dschg Current during Quit Relax time. This can be easily seen in the following image

However I can not find the Quit Relax Time in the bq34z100-g1 data flash table. I have some doubts about it:

- How could I access it?

- What is its default value?

To update resistance during discharge a certain time is  waited after discharge begins to prevent distortion from transients after a load onset (in the following image this time is shown as MaxDsgDurantion-200sec). There is also the frecuency at which resistance are update is RAM.

My application has not discharge times longer than 20-25 seconds. To solve this problem and achieve a resistance update in this short time I was told in this forum to configurate the following parameters as showed:

- Prime Relax time = 1

- Sec Relax time = 1

I was also provided with the appropiate .bqz flie to show these parameters.

My doubts are:

- Is this Prime Relax Time the time that IT algorithm waits after discharge starts to begin resistance updates?

- Is this Sec Relax Time the time between resistance updates in RAM during the discharge?

Regards,
