BQ34Z100: Working with a single cell 50Ah lit-ion battery

Hi there,

Two quick questions:

1. Can this device handle a single 50Ah 3.7V battery (I assume using the X10 mode?)

2. Can it handle a battery which is connected to a protection circuit (PCM) or will it work well only connected to the actual cell itself?
