Hey team,
I'm not too familiar with how the programming of this device works and I don't have an EVM on me so I wanted to run a quick question by you all.
Once the device is connected to the target system where it begins charging, the customer is hoping to disable the LED display even if the switch on the DISP_not pin is toggled low. Note that during this time, the PRES_not pin will be tied low indicating the device should be on. Then, when the device is disconnected, reenable the LED display so that when DISP_not is toggled low, the LEDs turn on. This is because the end user wants to have their own display during the charge cycle. Of course there is the possible hardware solution of placing a cover over the button while it is plugged in to the target system, but
I see in the configuration LEDCHG = 0 would work, but can that be configured on the fly?
What are your suggestions?
Thanks,
Cameron
