We are using the LM74800 in a new project.  We have a question:

will the IC issue a fault if a MOSFET fails either in an open or short condition?

    Hi Keith,

    LM7480-Q1  doesn't have the  feature to issue a fault if the MOSFET fails either in an open or short condition.

    Can you let us know more about your application and why the FET failure detection feature is important to you ?
