Team, can you help my customer with these questions:
I am trying to run a simulation in Orcad PsPice for the LM5176, But I have a problem and a question:
1.- What should I put in the SS parameter under the model:
2.- I have a problem with the DITH Pin.
Thanks
Viktorija
Hello Viktorija,
I think that 1 means the softstart is simulated and 0 means that softstart is not simulated, but I need to check more in detail.
I can observe the same issue when I add a capacitor to DITH. The dithering feature is not modelled in the current pSpice model.
Hallo Viktoria,
The parameter SS is either 0 or 1. 0 means no softstart and the converter is directly in regulation. SS = 1 means the softstart is enabled and the simulation takes longer.
Dithering is not modelled.
