TPS92630-Q1: All channels shutdown when open load is detected

Hi team,

My customer want to shutdown all channels when the load is disconnected.

As I looked at the section of open load in the datasheet, if the load disconnect is detected (open-load), the disconnected channel is still enabled. I think the IOUT pin outputs Vs in this case, am I right?

Is there any way to disable all channels when one channel load is disconnected?

Hi Saito-san,

Your understand is right, the open channel still enable so that the device could recovery when the fault is removed.

When one channel is open there is no current on that channel, so why you need to close the open channel.

Could you tell me your concern?
