    Hi Robin,

    Vin = 48V +/- 5%. We use a DC/DC for the Input to the LED Driver chip. Below is the schematic (also from TI. Please help review also)

    Below are some details of the design. Please let me know if you may need further information.

    • No.of LED per string = 28.
    • LED Vfmin = 2.8V, Vfmax = 3.3V
    • LED current = 306mA.
    • Switching frequency of LED driver = 200kHz
    • ISET = 153mA / channel
    • Vled_short = 5.6V
    • OVP = 94V

    Hi Ryan,

    There are two points that needs be careful about:

    1.C44 is recommended to choose a capacitor larger than 10nF.

    2.VOUT_max=28x3.3V=92.4V

       IOUT=306mAx3=918mA

       IIN_avg=VOUTxIOUT/90%/VIN=3.9A

       But the FET's ID is only 2.4A, please choose a proper one.

       Besides, the diode current capability is also not enough.
