Hi,

I want use the enable function in this IC. I don't need any of the UVLO or OVLO functions.

So reduce the component counts (not following the examples in the datasheet), I came up with this solution.

I want the confirmation from the TI before releasing the design to make PCBs.

Other sections of this circuit are already tested in different system, (using the TI spreadsheet)

Hi Siva,

The schematic looks fine.

Please verify the SOA margin of the design using design calculator available under the product folder.

Hi Rakesh,

Thank for confirming it, do mean SOA for the MOSFET, all the calculations were carried out using the design calculator, except for the enable, UVLO OVLO inputs.

As you can see from the schematic, we keep the OVLO pin under 7V, it is set to 5V.

and the UVLO pin is rated to100V, we operate below 55V (48V nominal).

Hi Siva,

Yes, design calculator helps to verify SOA margin. It does background calculations to calculate SOA margin based on the FET data in Setp-3
