BQ25792: PMID Pin

Part Number: BQ25792

Hi,

I am using BQ25792.

I am not using OTG function so the PMID pin is not used.

In this case, how should we do on the unused PMID pin?

Can I leave the PMID pin floating ? Or, What size capacitor should I use?

Halis

  • Hi Halis,

The PMID pin is the input to the buck-boost converter.  The recommended capacitor is still required at that PMID, especially the 0.1uF capacitor close to IC PMID pin and GND, even though OTG is not used.

    Regards,
