BQ25890H: What capacitance should be used on PMID pin

Part Number: BQ25890H

From datasheets the PMID capacitor is shown to be 6.8uF, 10uF - but on your schematic you have released for the part you have 1000pF in parallel with 8.2pF - can someone explain which is correct..

Hi,

https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/bq25890h.pdf shows PMID pin cap: 8.2 μF (OTG ≤ 1.8 A) or 20 μF (OTG ≤ 2.4 A).

Also we do not intend to use OTG - so is the capacitor required at all ?

Hi,

If OTG is not used, the minimum capacitance required on PMID to PGND is 8.2 μF.
