Dear,

I wan to use BQ24075 to use in my design for battery charge management(using 3.7V battery).

I Want to use TPS63060 to regulate input voltage to 3.3V

My requirements:

Input : 2.8(battery) to 5.5(BQ24075),

Output required : VOUT = 3.3V,Current = 1A.

I Know that VOUT will be 3.3v Throughout the input range. My doubt is will I get constant 1A through out the input voltage range?

Hello P.Akhil,

I would recommend using a buck-boost converter with a lower input voltage, e.g. TPS63020. This is designed for the lower input voltage ranges you have.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion and i will change my design but please clarify ,

Does using TPS63060 is not suitable for my requirements or TPS63020 is a better choice considering my requirements. and

Do I get 3.3V for the whole input range if used TPS63020 with 1A current?

Hello P.Akhil,

For your requirements, TPS63020 will provide a better efficiency and it regulates over the full range.

If a variable frequency is ok for you, TPS63802 would be the best choice for your requirements.
