LM5069: whether there is Thermal shutdown function or not on LM5069

Hi Team,

According to Datasheet, there is no Thermal shutdown function on LM5069.

Actually LM5069 has thermal shutdown function?

As far as I know, Most of Hot swap controller has thermal shutdown function.

    If this LM5069 does not have thermal shutdown function,

    LM5069 has Current limit or Power limit or circuit breaker?

    -According to Data sheet, tCL Response time in Current limit is 45us Typ.

     Can we know min/max?

    - How long is Circuit breaker min time？

    -How long does it take for Power limit？

    Hi Maki,

    LM5069 works in power limit/ current limit during startup but in steady state it works as circuit breaker with timeout set at the TIMER pin.

    We don't have min/max for tCL parameter and don't have response time of power limit.

    The circuit breaker time is programmable by capacitor at TIMER pin.

    Can you share the system requirements and use case details. Why these parameters are important ?
