Datasheet has a typical application circuit on page 9, can you explain the purpose of R13 and how its value was chosen

Hello burak,

The expert for this device will be back in the office next week.

My first assumption would be that R13 and C9 shall form an RC filter that minimizes the effect of the switching frequency on the VCC capacitor.

Hi Burak Balkuv,

As mentioned the resistor is selected to help filter out high frequency noise on the VCC rail. Typically a value of less than 100 Ohm will work well as it will filter out the noise but not dissipate too much power.
