Power muxes part recommendation request.

Hi, TI expert.

The customer requested Power muxes that meet the following conditions to apply to a new project.

- Input1: 5V

- Input2: 3.7V or 4.2V Battery(Li-Ion or Li-Polymer)

- Output Current: 4A ~ 5A

- Other: Notification of the power status currently in use

If there is a suitable product, please recommend it.

    Please look at TPS25947 (Figure 9-6 in the datasheet)

    Thanks for the answer.

    However, TPS25947 needs to be applied with two to apply with the above specifications.

    We request a recommendation again as a product that can be designed using only one part.

    Answers I'll wait.

    Hi Lee,

    we have TPS2121 and TPS2120 but those cannot support continuous 5A. Please go through the datasheet and let us know

    When I contacted the customer again, they said that it is okay to have an output current of 4A or more.

    Instead, we requested a recommendation as a product with an output ON/OFF function.

    Hi Lee,

    TPS2121 does it through ST and SEL pins
