TL494: TL494 Performance failure

Hi Team

We have used 2000pcs, and 15pcs of products have failed. We have provided the test video.

Please help to analyze the cause of the failure. thank you

    Hello,

    Thanks for your inquiry. The technical team supporting this device is based in the US and they are on holiday presently. Please expect a response back from them by Tuesday next week at the latest. 

    In the meantime, can you confirm which distributer you acquired the devices? If it is a certified TI distributer they should have a process to submit failed units through the distributer and we can interface directly with the distributer to assist you.

    1. Could you please explain what is being demonstrated in the clips above? I can see you are triggering an electrode with a touch sensor
      1. Is the first video a demonstration of proper operation and the second a demonstration of the failure? 
    2. What is the failure mode you are observing? Please describe how you see the TL494 failing in your system context in detail.
