BQ24610: Reset the safety timer using TTC pin

Part Number: BQ24610

Dear All,

On page 18 of the datasheet,
"The TTC pin may be taken LOW to disable termination and to disable the safety timer. If TTC is pulled to VREF,
the BQ2461x continues to allow termination, but disables the safety timer. TTC taken low resets the safety timer.
When ACOV, VCCLOWV, and SLEEP mode resume normal, the safety timer is reset."
there are description of it is able to reset the safety timer taken TTC pin to low, so I tried to reset the safety timer using a MOSFET switch as shown below schematic.

(A)

Normally, it detect the safety timer fault at the time passed an hour from the charger enters the CV/CC phase.
This is right operation of the safety timer and I already checked it actually as shown figure below.

(B)
Next, after 30 minutes since start the charging, I gave a pulse that active while "TON" to MOSFET's gate.
I guessed the overall charge duration is 90 minutes(30 + 60) from it started, but the result is same as the case (A), an hour.
I tried to set the time of  "TON" up to 5 seconds, but it not effected.

How can I reset the safety timer using TTC pin ?

I know toggling CE pin reset the safety timer, but the way affect to STAT output of the BQ24610 so it is unsuitable for my application circuits.

Best regards.
