BQ24610: ACDRV Pin 1K ohm resister connected with Q1, Q2

Hi I'm trying to use BQ24610 to charging battery and I found different between reference schematic in datasheet and BQ24610 EVM's schematic.

this is EVM board's shcematic and there is two 1K ohms (R21, R24) but reference schematic in datasheet(second picture) has only one.

I have no idea why EVM Board has two 1k ohms

please some body help me

Hi Daeson,

Q2 gate drive turn on is slowed by adding these resistors, to limit the dI/dt and limit the inrush current. R24 limits turn on of both Q1 and Q2, while R21 adds additional turn on delay to Q2. You can use the EVM to test inrush with adapter insertion, and remove and replace these 1k resistors with 0ohm. If inrush is acceptable, you can reduce BOM count by removing these resistors for your application.
