BQ25896: Charging Parameter Default Setting

Hi TI,

Could 【Charging Parameter Default Setting】 of BQ25896 IC be set before shipment? Ex: Charging current 2.048A is too big for our system application, we want it lower.

【More Info.】

We know the value could be set by I2C interface, but we'd like to have the most safe way to ensure the current won't exceed the value we set before CPU Control BQ25896. So we want the charging current setting lower before we get these chips.

Jason,

The default settings can't be changes. You may consider BQ24192I with 1.024A default charge current or BQ25618/619 with 340mA default charge current.
