Hi Support team

How would the reverse current of lm7480-1 suggest a better design?
The main concern is that if (+12V-load voltage drop) <+12VSB when doing peak load, when the back to back IC EN is also On, will 12VSB be reversed to compensate for +12V?

Hi Red,

Is your question that, during peak load condition will the reverse current protection trigger if +12VSB voltage (connected to pint A of LM7480-Q1) drops to a value lower than +12V-load voltage (connected to OUT of LM7480-Q1).

I don't think output voltage can go higher than input voltage during peak load condition. If my understanding is not correct, please elaborate your question.
