Hi team,
I'd like to know about the inrush current at the time of insertion.
Inrush current flows when the battery is inserted.
Is TPS22810 effective in suppressing this?
I think also OK because it has UVLO and Soft start.
Sincerely.
Kengo.

Hi Kengo,
Assuming that the device does not have power and the EN signal is not held high, connecting a battery to the input of TPS22810 should not result in inrush current passing through to the load. Once the device gets power from the battery and only after the enable signal is pulled high, will the device start conducting.
Using the soft start ability, the inrush current to the load will be clamped.
