LM25085: The operation in case that Pch FET is shorted

Could you kindly advise the operation of LM25805 when Pch FET is shorted between drain and source ?

Hi Michiaki,

If the power MOSFET is shorted drain to source, turning it off with the gate has no effect. Then Vin is connected directly to SW and charges the output until Vout equals Vin.
