TPS23758: EMC CMC

Hello,

I am using this part in a POE circuit with 5V output.  The reference design for the TPS23758 (TPS23758EVM-080) shows a common mode choke in the design L6 that is listed as not populated.  Does the CMC reduce the conducted emissions from at least 150KHz to 500KHz? Is there any harm in having both this and the ferrite beads (L2 and L4) connected?

    An EMI choke helps with common mode current, which is typically lower frequency. The ferrite beads help with the higher frequency noise. 

    It is acceptable and encouraged to use both if needed.
