BQ34Z100-G1: Making Chem ID in BqStudio

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCCHEM

Dear Sir,

I'm from India. I want to create new Chem ID in Bq Studio by sending cells to Texas Instruments.

I'm aware of GPCChem tool. as cell manufacturer is new so i want to create it custom chem id.

Please guide.

Regards,

Pratik

  • Hello Samruddhi,

Can you share your GPCCHEM report so we can check how much of a mismatch there has been? Running new IDs is costly and most of the time is not needed because there are many good matches using the tool.

Even if the cell manufacturer is new it is likely there is already a characterized cell that will be a good match for the battery you're using.

A single cell needs to be characterized using the procedure on the GPCCHEM page.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller
