LM3671: Schematic Review

Hello Team,

I am looking for a simple schematic review on the LM3671. The customer is seeing intermittent failure from this device and is worried that the 10uF cap on the input may be the culprit. Could someone please take a look?

Hi Dajon,

The schematic diagram looks fine. And I don't see any possibility that the input capacitor will cause the device to fail unless it is due to poor layout. Can you share the waveform (VIN, Vout, SW pin) when the device failed? You can post the PCB layout for review as well.

By the way, did you send the failed samples for failure analysis? What is the findings?
