Hi experts,

 I'd like to disccus a solution here, I promoted TPS92692 to my customer for a 9-15V input 25V1A led drive requirement, but for cost consideration, my custoemr also want to use this device to support another ouput .that is mean, they want to use TPS92692 to support two output at the same time, one for 25V1A led drive, another for 12V1.6A output as below picture show.  please kindly suggest if it is ok using this device like this, also welcome for other recommendation.. thanks.

    Hello,

    In general, that is not recommended since the TPS92692 is regulating the current for the 25V 1A.  The loading of the BUCK can cause transient and control issue.  There is nothing to be gain with the way you are proposing since you still need a second power stager anyway.  You are better off using another TPS92692 in Buck Boost topology for the 12V/1.6A load.
