TLV62569A: Max Cout and ESD diode from EN to Vin

Part Number: TLV62569A

I have two questions.

What is the maximum allowed Cout on the TLV62569A output?  Customer has 91uF of Cout (before de-rating) with 1uH in 1.8V application.

Also, is there an ESD clamp on EN pin?  What does the structure look like?  Is there a diode tied to Vin?

Russell

  • Hi Russell,

The maximum optimal value for Cout is 47uF. In case the customer wanted to use a higher Cout value, then they need to verify the loop stability, ripple voltage, and transient response if it meets their specification.

I need to verify if there is an ESD clamp on the EN pin. There will be a significant delay in the response because most people are on vacation leave already.

    Best regards,

  • Hi Russell,

The designer is still on vacation leave and will be back in the office on Monday.
As we are already discussing your queries internally, so I will close this thread.

    Thank you.
