The TRM says virtually ZERO about the "learned status", and doesn't explain why the full charge capacity is zero. That was my question. This doesn't occur with the 78350, and so I've not seen this before. Do you understand why this is happening? And if so, can you explain exactly what is needed to correct it? I'm developing on a simulator, not on a real battery, and so if the problem is a learning cycle is needed, I'd like to understand this.

Programming the correct chemID and doing a learning cycle are required for best performance.

The TRM says virtually NOTHING about the meaning of this Learned Status:  since it's 0, then it says the battery is ok...

QMax (Bit 3): QMax updates in the field.
0 = QMax has not been updated in the field.
1 = QMax updated in the field.
ITEN (Bit 2): IT enable
0 = IT is disabled.
1 = IT is enabled.
CF1, CF0 (Bit 1–0): QMax Status
0,0 = Battery is OK.

So, if I've not done a learning cycle, the gauge will return 0 for FC capacity and Remaining capacity?...makes no sense.
