UCD9090A: How to enable margining function?

Hi team,

My customer would like to test UCD9090A margining function but it seems fail.

So could you advise how to enable this function?

BTW, currently customer used TI EVM board and GUI.

I forward this document to customer and they mentioned they just read this data before.

But it seems margining function is still no work.

So is it possible to provide simple configuration procedure for customer to do?

I checked your application note and there is margining configuration in page13~15.https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva845a/slva845a.pdf

Does customer just follow this sequence then they should see PWM waveform appeared in DPWM pin?

They have to have margin circuit design in the board. After that, please follow the steps in the docs to configure and run.

According to your suggestion, so customer needs to have closed loop circuit for margining function testing, am I right?

Yes, a closed loop circuit is required for margining function. They can follow the https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slvc676 to calculate the R/C values.
