Hi,

I have got the "SMBusCommandGenerator" Application that writen by Python script from your support engineers.

When i run the python script for only creating SMBus commands, it creates the SMBus commands succesfuly. There is no problem for that functionality. But I have a problem on writing .srec file to bq78350-R2 IC.

Firstly, I tried to write my custom .srec file to bq78350-R2 with using BqStudio v1.3.101 via EV2400. It's writen succesfully. Then I tried to writing the same .srec file to the same IC with the Python Application. Script said, "End Programming" and finished writing. But after that, I can't connect to IC anymore. Neither with BqStudio or Python application. I tried boot button, power reset, but they didn't work. Application gives this message;

Read WordU 0x0d
Device does not respond.

Can you help me ? Thank you.

Hi,

If the process of writing the srec is interrupted, it might not be possible to communicate with the device is it was only partially programmed.

If you set the variable programWithEV2400 to zero, it will only generate the output text file without trying to program the device.

Hi,

I don't think the writing is interrupted. The script reaches the last line that prints "End Programming" without any error message. That means all the checksum controls are succesful.

I know to run only generating the output text file without programming. But the generated file doesn't help me because the write commands didn't work.
