BQ25703A: Regarding the required results at the output

Hi,

What is the Register 0x0C Min SYS volt set up to? This value should be lower than your battery voltage, in order to fast charge the battery.

Check status in Reg 0x21, to make sure you are in fast charge mode, and not in any other faults.

min system voltage 9.216v but it is still showing the 13.6v for some reason......

i have set it to 9.216V but it is showing 13.6 V

Hi Vinith,

SYS voltage is floating about VBAT, so BATFET is not on yet. Something isn't set up/detected correctly on battery side.

What value do you set for Reg0x04, charge voltage? is 10.6V battery voltage measured at SRP?

the voltage is measured at SRP

And the 0x04 is 00 and 0x05 is 30...........

and one more thing for this what are the setting i should follow in the register , i am not using  prochot in my schematic

Charge voltage setting is ok.

Please follow the EVM user guide to set the device. if you still have problem, can you dump all register settings for review? Something seems missing, SYS voltage isn't correct!

Watch carefully in Reg0x20/21, making sure you are in fast charge loop and don't have any faults.

Sir what is the maximum charging current can i go with this input voltage and input current where their is a microcontroller which uses 3.3V and at max consumes 500mA....
