TPIC7218-Q1: Datasheet Clarification

Hello Guys,

Looking at the datasheet of TPIC7218-Q1, figure 5-6 (page30) and figure 6-1 (page47), there seems to be a conflict on the connection of  WSLS and WSS. On page 30 you can see WSLS connected to the sensor and to WSS via a resistor, on page 47 the pins are swapped, WSS is connected to the sensor.

Which of the two connection is correct?

    Hi Art,

    After looking at the datasheet the figure 6-1 is the correct configuration. If you look at the detailed internal diagram in figure 5-7 it makes sense. The current flows from WSP to WSLS. WSS measures the voltage difference across the load resistor, which allows the device to measure the current.

    Edit: Figure would not load originally.
