LM5066I: startup with short circuit, mosfet fail

Hi Team,

meeting a problem with startup. if we short the output and them startup the circuit. the MOSFET would be burned.

i attached the schemtic below:

could you help check is there any potential risk on our design now?

Hi Brandon,

The selected FET does not have enough SOA to meet the design. Please use CSD19536KTT or PSMN4R8-100BSE.
