BQ76930: Balancing regiater write cycles in AFE

Hi ,

All , we are working with Bq76930 AFE , for same we are worried for it's write cycle while writing in to its Balancing Register.

Because Balancing is such activity which will be triggered repeatedly if required, and writing to its register will also be frequent. 

So Please share if write cycles are infinite or not?

    Hi Rohit,

    There is not a restriction on the number of times the balancing register can be written in this device.  You might be thinking of flash based devices, where there are often limited number of writes specified.  This register is not flash based, it uses standard logic, so does not have these types of restrictions.

    Does such flash or memory available, for storage application?

    Am looking for such storage, whose write cycles are infinite.

    Can you suggest any?

    Hi Rohit,

    I believe most flash memories have limits on the number of cycles allowed.  General logic and RAM doesn't have that same restriction, but they are not non-volatile.  Sorry that I'm not familiar with anything else to suggest in this regard.
