UCC28180: Excel design calculator #REF in ICOMP field

Part Number: UCC28180

I believe tthere is a bug (seems like a faulty reference) in the UCC28180 design calculator spreadsheet. All of the fields and plots where ICOMP is calculated have a red #REF error.
The problem affects: cells C118 and J183, also the "VCOMP & ICOMP at Full Load as a Function of Line Voltage" and "VCOMP and ICOMP at Selected Line Voltage as a Function of Load" do not show a plot for ICOMP value.

Interestingly the spreadsheet does not display the #REF errors until the contents of C23 and C24 (Min Input from AC Line & Max Input from AC Line) are changed, even if they are changed and then returned to their original values.

I am using Open Office to view and edit the spreadsheet.

Kind regards,

  • Hi William,

What is the formula you see for C118 and J183? Both these cells pull data from a hidden sheet called "VCOMP". I downloaded a fresh copy and updated the min/max AC input voltages but I did not see the #REF error you mentioned. Perhaps open office is not seeing the hidden sheet?

    Best Regards,

    Ben Lough
