Hi, Gareth,

1. We have a training video discussing "Hybrid boost and narrow-voltage DC architecture of multi-cell chargers".

2. BQ24780S needs the host to set the charge current and charge voltage based on the cell configuration. The default charge current and charge voltage are zero.

It seems that the BQ24800 battery can provide boost to the system, right?
Example VBAT9V boost >>Sys 12V ....
Does BQ24780 have the same function

Correct! battery only boost mode is a new feature for BQ24800.

BQ24780S does not have this feature.
