TPS63802: Selection Recommendation

What's the Vin range? It mainly depended on the peak current.

Hi Minqiu,

I had gone through the buck-boost converters datasheet and narrowed down on 2 devices TPS63802 & TPS630250(QFN). Which one do you recommend?

Requirement:
1. Vin : 3.0V-4.2V
2. Vout : 3.3V
3. Continuous current - 2A
4. Peak current is 3A

Also TPS63802 is not in stock, any idea when it will be back in stock?

I think the TPS63802 is much better. But it may have some risk when support 3A loading when Vin drops to 3V.

What's the duration of the 3A loading? Is it a pulse?

Will TPS63802  support 3A loading when VIN > 3.3? 

Its difficult to calculate the duration as the load is dynamic. 

Also, any idea about the stock? Its not available with TI & also with TI distributors

It's just on the boundary. You can check the Fig10-2 in datasheet. 

For the stock, I'm sorry that I have no idea about that. You can contact our customer service or sales about that.
