Hi team,

I have 2 questions for TPS51396 datasheet description.

1. Where is CFF cap in EVM schematic? And what is its function?

2. Do we have recommended component value for Vout=1.8V?

    Hi Hardy,

    1. The feedforward capacitor, which is a cap placed across the high side feedback resistor, can improve the stability and bandwidth of a power supply. This capacitor adds a zero and a pole to the control loop, which can be strategically placed to improve the phase margin and bandwidth. Details can be checked the linked app note.

    2. For 1.8Vout, you can use 1.2uH inductor, Rlow=30K, Rup=60K resistor. Others can be same with 1Vout. Honestly, you can also use TPS568230 Webench to select external components.
